Our clients design brief for this spacious room, included a functional and stylish aesthetic, with large island & pantry, and concealed laundry space.  A timber inframe range was chosen, painted in the beautiful and rich Hague Blue by Farrow & Ball, and finished with Unistone’s impressive Carrara Misterio quartz work surfaces.  Design features also include square pilasters, framed island ends, and walnut shelving, whilst incorporating freestanding large appliances, and a Quooker hot tap for boiling water, with Cube for sparkling & chilled drinking water.

Enclosing a structural pillar within the sleek mantle enables a more efficient use of space, whilst continuing cabinets all the way to the ceiling maximises available storage, and maintains proportion with an ample ceiling height.  

We also created a secret laundry room…an inventive way to hide away freestanding appliances and the family laundry, without interrupting the flow of the kitchen cabinetry.

The exquisitely crafted large double butler’s pantry with its beautiful walnut dovetail drawers, spice racks, and quartz countertop, enables convenient and accessible pantry storage.  Furthermore, the concealment of small kitchen appliances such as a coffeemaker, toaster, and microwave help this busy family to maintain a clutter-free kitchen.  There are so many ways to discretely conceal everyday clutter, which can be utilised in any space, whether your kitchen is large or small.
